The Alabama Administrative Monthly is published by the Legislative Reference Service pursuant to subsection (f) of Section 41-22-7 of the Code of Alabama 1975. The Monthly contains notices by state agencies of the intent to adopt, amend, or repeal rules. The notices include a statement of either the terms or substance of the intended action or a description of the subjects and issues involved. The notices are published in full alphabetical order by agency name. The text of the proposed new, amended, or repealed rule is not generally included in the notice. A copy of the text of a proposed new or amended rule may be acquired from the agency proposing the action.
The Monthly also contains certifications of rules to the Legislative Reference Service upon final adoption and publishes other public notices of state agencies. These notices are listed separately in alphabetical order by agency name. The Monthly also includes a Table of Contents which is in alphabetical order by agency name.
